Phil Shaw in addition to being a sales professional is a world class athlete who channels his energy for positive and creative purposes.

Ever since the beginning of his career Phil has always placed among the top finishers. Phil continues to win an impressive number of races in Quebec including Canada's Gatineau Worldloppet and placing among the elite in Worldloppets in Italy, Sweden, Switzerland, Germany, Norway and in the USA. .

Phil is also a philanthropist. In recent years he roller-skied throughout countries like Canada, UK, Ireland, New-Zealand, Australia and Europe. His message, 'Smoke less, exercise more and eat sensibly. In 1995 he undertook his first major exploit. He in-line-skated across Canada in 72 days. A Guinness world record which he still holds to this very day.

Personal Objectives

• Aiming for a top 100 finish at Italy's biggest xc ski race the Marcialonga 2011 Worldloppet. 6000 racers with approximately 2000 Norwegians. 'Molto competitivo, ma la gara piu bella del mondo di sci de fondo. Vivere la regione delle Dolomiti e supratutto le bellezze del nord Italia'
• Numerous podiums at Québec regional races in 2011.
• Aiming at 4th Victory at Canada's biggest xc ski race...the Gatineau Worldloppet 50km classic.
• Will try for a top 10 the next day. The Gatineau Worldloppet 50km skate. 100kms of back to back racing...Hope to ski past Lance Armstrong!
• I plan to ski race another 700kms for the Alzheimer Society Suroît and donate 10 cents per kilometer.

"More than ever I strive to influence the young of heart to discover the joys, adrenalin and euphoria of cross country ski racing. 'True happiness is being able to cross country ski every day there's snow and roller-ski when there is no snow' > I'm well on the road to achieving my training objectives for the summer of 2010. So far I've accumulated well over 8 million hours and approximately 97 million kilometers of roller-skiing since the end of the winter 2010. Sports Rosemère Inc is working hard to supply my needs of worn out equipement!

• 1rst at the Oka Ski Marathon 32km freestyle on March 14th 2010
• 1rst at the 40km freestyle Défi Nordique on March 7th, 2010. Mauricie National park.
• 1rst at the 40km classic style Défi Nordique on March 6th, 2010. Mauricie National Park.
• 1rst at the 10km classic of the Viking Loppet in Morin-Heights. 28-02-10
• 14th at the Gatineau Worldloppet 50km freestyle February 21, 2010
• 1rst at the Gatineau Worldloppet 50km classic February 20, 2010
• 1rst at the 15km freestyle race in Mont-Orford National park 14-02-10
