February 3, 2008 - Worldloppet Koenig-Ludwig-Lauf, Germany.
I had another amazing result despite the fact that I emptied my tank
yesterday in the 42km skate race. 55th overall with only Europeans ahead of me. I felt good from beginning to
end and was able to speed past about 50 skiers from the start. The conditions
were faster than yesterday and was through the finish line in 1hr 42
as bettering my time by 5 minutes faster. To celebrate I decided to ski another
3hrs doing the full course 2ce. I was surprised by joining in on the 21km race(non
officially) and outskiing many from the middle of the group. Hard to resist
doing this due to the perfect weather, fast conditions and excited mostly German
skiers.
